Robert Laing is a veteran aerospace and defence executive with more than three and a half decades of experience shaping high‑value programmes across Asia. Until October 2025 he served as Lockheed Martin’s senior representative for Southeast Asia, directing regional strategy, overseeing all business‑unit operations, and stewarding relationships with governments, prime‑industry partners, and key customers throughout the ASEAN bloc. Under his leadership the Southeast Asian portfolio consistently exceeded order targets, expanded the company’s footprint in emerging markets, and secured multi‑year contracts that reinforced Lockheed Martin’s position as a trusted defence partner in the region.
